I worked at UA Cinema 10 of Abilene

We used to have to put up the movie titles on the marquee outside the mall. Every Thursday night after last movie started. We got paid $20 to do this job. We thought we were making big bucks, but this was a very dangerous job. Rain or shine we had to do this, every freakin Thursday night. Who helped? Have any memories of this? Do you guys know what I’m talking about?

I remember a broken urinal at the UA. The pipe was easily moved that you could point it at person peeing… so when they flushed, the water went directly on them. The ushers would constantly rig it so it was pointing at the person peeing… we would patiently wait at usher stand for the sorry sucker to come out soakin wet… we couldn’t help ourselves, we would die laughing .. they would come out and complain to us.. we acted like we cared, then we would go back and rig it again for he next sucker..
dang I loved this job.
