Looking for activities for the kiddos over spring break? Bring them over for Arts and Crafts Camp! Monday March 9th through Wednesday March 11th. Bring them to the farm in Hamby! Open to ages 5 and up.

Schedule is as follows:

Monday morning session: 9:30am - 12pm
Painting a flower pot
Includes instruction on color schemes, design, and painting. Students will create their own unique designs and plant their own flowers in their pots when finished!

Monday afternoon session: 1pm - 3:30pm
Painting a chick and bunny
Includes instruction on sketching and painting with live models! Students will come up with their own design or follow along with the instructors design.

Tuesday morning session: 9:30am - 12pm
Creating suncatchers
Students receive more instruction of the color wheel and use of colors while assembling their own suncatchers!

Tuesday afternoon session: 1 pm - 3:30pm
Painting flowers
Includes instruction on sketching and painting their choice of flowers! Students will come up with their own design or follow along with the instructors design.

Wednesday morning session: 9:30am - 12pm
Painting a rainbow unicorn.
Includes instruction on sketching and painting. Students will come up with their own design or follow along with the instructors design.

Wednesday afternoon session: 1pm-3:30 pm
Painting a fiery dragon
Includes instruction on sketching and painting. Students will come up with their own design or follow along with the instructors design.

Cost is $35 per session. Extended times may be possible for extra charge. Fee is due when spot is reserved and is payable by cash, PayPal, or Venmo.

Ok Facebook, here is the deal! I have a very special German Shepherd who hasn't been doing so good. We have been to the vet, but he needs more and possible surgery. As a single mom, vet bills have quickly drained what I had in savings. So, I am going to be auctioning off a few paintings over the weekend to raise money for my buddy Ranger! If you see something you would like to bid on, just comment below the pic or send me a message. Winners will be kept confidential unless you want to be recognized for your awesomeness...in which case just give me the word and I will shout it from the hilltops! All paintings are 16"x20" unless otherwise specified. Starting bids are $25. Local delivery in Abilene, TX is free! I am also happy to ship! Buyer pays shipping on anything under $75. I will try to add more art through the weekend. Bidding on these 3 (Dark Horse, Orca Family, and Sunset Cowboy) ends Monday at 1200 Central Time, at which time a winner for each painting will be announced. About Ranger and I:
Ranger is 6 years young. He has been my daughters best friend from day one. He started out as my service dog after a drunk driver busted up my back. Doctors did not expect me to recover like I did, so he was retired from service work. He has since been my co-parent to my crazy kiddo, helped me at working on farms and ranches, and been our best budand protector for the last five years. He has been getting sick a lot over the last couple of months. X-rays showed a possible blockage and crystallization in his gall bladder as well as pancreatitis. The meds aren't working as well as we hoped and we are very worried.

I have been painting my entire life. I competed in art competitions and won national and international contests. Works have been used as press backdrops and in documentaries and I just recently had my first book cover published in "A Pig in the Kitchen."

I haven't had much time to paint lately, but am a sucker for fairs. Entered "Run in Faith" in the West Texas Fair and was very happy to see it placed third in the professionals division!

I went out of my normal subject matter to do this piece for a soldier last year. I didn't quite get all the details in that I had planned, but we ran out of time. I am still pretty happy how it turned out. I enjoy a bit of a challenge!

We have been in the great state of Texas for a year now, but it has been a great transition! And now, for the first time ever, I have moved to a house with an actual art room to get back to painting in! As soon as boxes are unpacked, that is.

In the meantime, I have started leading painting parties!
