For those that were not able to attend Garageband 16 on Saturday night, this is part of what you missed. IT's the All Star Band playing the last song of the night, with none other than "Freeboard". Needless to say, they killed it. Wow.

I need to make an apology. In introducing the members of The Furies, I neglected to introduce to two most important members of our band. Joe Willoughby and Frank Stroube. I don't know how I managed to do that, but it was a tremendous oversight. First, Joe Willoughby. He's been a part of every Garageband since #1. He even was the MC at several of the events. We call him "Rock & Roll Joe". Next, Frank Stroube, the original leader of the Furies. He was telling me how he hired the band's first drummer, Steve Smith, over the phone. He asked him to play something while he was listening on the phone, and hired him on the spot. I can't say how sorry I am that I didn't give these guys the recognition they deserve. No excuse for me not doing that on Saturday night. Meeting them through this event has meant the world to me -- and I hope the both will forgive me.

Now, to everyone else, what a night! Figuring up numbers now, but I believe we have a chance on this one being the biggest we've ever done, in terms of money raised for New Horizons. Music was fabulous, crowd was fantastic, and the All Star Jam was out of this world. Thanks to everyone for hanging around to the very end.

To New Horizons, a big "Thank You". They provided help in so many ways - we couldn't have made this event what it was, without their contributions.

Hope you saw our interviews on KTAB and KRBC promoting The Last Dance! At this point, better get your tickets at the civic center box office. BUT, if you want one of the remaining reserved tables, go to garagebandwoodstock.com, reserve it -- and we'll hold your tickets at WILL CALL.

Last few days, if you want a reserved table of 10, go online NOW. Garagebandwoodstock.com. At this point, we would probably hold your tickets at WILL CALL. This may be your last chance to see these great bands: The Continentals, Hedley Lamarr, Outta the Blue, The Fabulous Furies and Chevelle V. Plus, someone is going home with an all expense paid trip to Las Vegas! And, this one of a kind, collector's quilt will be auctione off Saturday night. There's only one of these, with swatches from every Garageband t-shirt for the last 16 years. Already had a lot of interest in this, but we're waiting for Saturday night!

If you want your shirt before the show, let me know. $20 a piece sizes S - XL, $22 a piece sizes XXL - ###L. You can pay for them online at our website, and I'll mail them out. Specify color also. Small and Medium are either blue or pink. All other sizes are either red or grey. Here's the official Garageband "Board of Directors" showing off this year's shirt.
