The ACU Theatre family joins the ACU community in honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Rodney Ashlock.

Rodney was a faithful scholar, gifted teacher, devoted minister, and treasured friend. He believed deeply in the power of story and faithfully encouraged the work of ACU Theatre through chapel experiences, spiritual conversations, and genuine friendship.

Those who knew Rodney will never forget the twinkle in his eye, his playful wit, and the remarkable way he made every person feel seen, loved, and valued. His humility, generosity, and Christ-centered life left a lasting impact on our department, our university, and the Kingdom of God.

We extend our heartfelt prayers and deepest condolences to Laura, their children and grandchildren, and the entire Ashlock family. We are grateful for Rodney’s faithful life and the legacy he leaves behind.
