Thank you to everyone who joined us for Choral Masterpieces: A Journey Through the Ages at Boone Family Theatre. Our Classical Chorus had the privilege of sharing a rich collection of choral works spanning centuries, styles, and composers, and we are so grateful to have experienced this musical journey with such a wonderful audience.

Following our finale, contestants, families, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters gathered together for a wonderful post-show reception to celebrate an unforgettable season of music, community, and talent. 🎶 We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our amazing Board of Directors for providing the delicious food and refreshments that made the evening so special. Your generosity and support help create meaningful experiences for our participants and guests.

🎶✨ WHILE THE JUDGES DELIBERATED... ✨🎶

As our judges faced the difficult task of tabulating scores and selecting this year's winners, the audience was treated to a special performance by BACKBEAT, Chorus Abilene’s pop Acappella ensemble! 🎤

Their incredible energy, talent, and stage presence kept the excitement going while the final scores were being calculated. Your performance was the perfect way to keep the excitement alive as we awaited the final results! 🌟

We then ended with a sing a long and finally RESULTS!!
Awards were presented by executive director, Lacey Ayala and community outreach coordinator, Monique Speckels. Our first place winner in the adult category was presented by Wonderland Records! Wonderland sponsored our winner with a professional demo!

What an amazing season it has been watching these talented young artists take the stage and share their passion for music! 💛

Our Junior contestants (ages 13–17) brought outstanding talent, confidence, and dedication to every performance. From powerful vocals to unforgettable stage presence, they wowed audiences and judges alike, proving that the future of music is bright. 🌟🎶
Each contestant demonstrated courage, hard work, and a willingness to step outside their comfort zone. We are so proud of every young performer who accepted the challenge and gave it their all on the Abilene Idol stage.

A huge thank you to the families, friends, mentors, volunteers, and supporters who encouraged these rising stars throughout their journey. Your support helped make this experience meaningful and memorable for every contestant. ❤️
