Jesus Says, “Forgive Those Who Have Hurt You”
My child, I know there are people whose words still hurt you and memories that make your heart heavy. I know you have wondered why someone you loved could treat you so carelessly, and why people sometimes leave wounds they never try to heal. But listen to Me: do not allow another person's cruelty to turn your heart into a place filled with hatred. Forgiveness is not pretending that the pain never happened, and it does not mean you must allow someone to hurt you again. Forgiveness is choosing to release the bitterness that keeps your soul imprisoned. You can establish boundaries and still forgive. You can walk away from harmful situations and still pray for peace. You can remember the lesson without carrying the anger forever. I have called you to love, to show mercy, and to seek peace whenever possible. Do not seek revenge just because someone has wounded you. Let God be the judge, and let your own heart become a place where healing can begin. Some apologies may never come, and some relationships may never return to what they once were. Even then, you can move forward with dignity, wisdom, and faith. Do not let the person who hurt you decide the kind of person you become. Choose compassion over hatred, peace over revenge, and freedom over bitterness. Your heart deserves healing, and your future deserves more than the pain of your past. ❤️🕊️
