edieval castle is surrounded by a moat and is guarded by knights in armor. The entire family will enjoy a leisurely ride around the park on the Storybook Land Express Train. Ride the thrilling Humpty Dumpty Roller Coaster, or a twist and turn on our Teacup ride and we even have a Rio Grande Mini Train for the toddler in all of us! The Land of Oz located within Storybook Land portrays the well-known characters and settings of “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” written by L. Dorothy’s House offers a simulated tornado experience with special lighting and sound effects. You can stroll down the yellow brick road, visit Dorothy’s Farmstead and Munchkin Land, take a ride on the 30-horse Allan Herschell carousel, enjoy a birds eye view as you soar above the park on the Wizard’s Balloon ride.

It is a rainy opening day at Storybook Land!! Our rides are currently closed until the rain stops this afternoon. The Visitor Center is still open!! We will have the Train and Carousel open starting at 4pm!!
