Darren Beyer Music Live music covering multi-decades of country and rock music. Together we formed the Band "Total Strangers and Others" which is still currently active.

I got my first real acoustic guitar when I was 11 years old but didn't perform publicly until 2017, at the age of 37 with Keith Falken from Rosholt, SD. I have Keith to thank for giving me a great opportunity to fulfill my long-time dream of playing guitar and singing for people! When the Covid pandemic hit I didn't want to put anyone else's health at risk so I started performing one-man band show

s which have been very successful and have opened up new opportunities. I helped form the Backroad Bandits Band in 2021, which has changed some band members since but still active. In addition to all that, the latest project I have been working on is the Darren Beyer Band. It's a 3-piece Band consisting of myself on Guitar and Vocals, Jake Shishnia on Bass and Vocals and Doug Rezac on Drums and Vocals. A couple weeks ago I was able to get my band close to my hometown and was lucky to have my parents in attendance! This was the first time they had seen the full band and my mom captured this short clip from the show. A few years back, when I was 12 years old this song was released by Brooks and Dunn and at that time, my parents were big into country western dancing. They would take me along to the dancehalls and I was in awe of the bands performing and the dance floor full of line dancers and 2 steppers and all I wanted to do was to be that band and get the people dancing! It took a few years longer than I hoped but the dream is coming true!! Thanks for the inspiration mom and dad!
