Hello everyone, this is something that is IMPORTANT to anyone who is wanting to purchase fish... it is very Important that you have an aquarium ALREADY set up to put your new pet in, a new aquarium SHOULD cycle at least 24 hours before adding the fish. The reason is so that all the contaminents (chlorine etc.) have time to dissolve and that the temperature has reached the desire temp for what kind of fish you have. No it is not OK to buy the fish and then go get something, No it is not OK to go get something set it up and add fish right away. Also it is Not OK to put a Betta or Goldfish in a bowl,(these fish should have a heater so that they don't get sick with ICK). Google it and you will see...
