Ashinaga cultural club started in January 2012. It was started to promote talents in Music, Dance and Drama. This is to help the orphans to sustain themselves in future. The club members have gained skills in Music Dance and Drama. They can now dance various dances which include Kiganda dance from Buganda kingdom ,Runyege from Bunyoro and Toro kingdom and Mwaga dance from Eastern Uganda. This h

as exposed them to different cultures hence broadening their minds. Ashinaga culture club has performed at a number of occasions which include;
The 5th Public lecture in Makerere series at Makerere University Kampala with the theme “Poverty eradication in sub-saharan Africa’ by Ashinaga President Mr. Yoshiomi Tamai on 4th May, 2012. They performed Kiganda dance from Buganda kingdom. The second time was before Their Imperial Highnesses the Prince and Princess Akishino at Ashinaga Rainbow house on 13th June 2012. They performed Kiganda dance and sang Doraemon song. The third performance was during the ground breaking ceremony for the construction of Kokorojuko at Yesu-Amala play ground on 28th September 2012 which was presided by minister of internal Affairs and the Ambassador of Japan to Uganda. Currently the club is training to have a Stage in Tokyo Japan in March 2014. Big thanks goes to Ashinaga Uganda ,the staff ,trainers and well-wishers for the continuous support towards the club.
