African countries that have an African language as their official languages

1)- South Africa 🇿🇦 - South Africa has eleven official languages, including isiZulu, isiXhosa, Afrikaans, English, and others. This recognition reflects the country's diverse linguistic heritage.

2)- Ethiopia 🇪🇹 - Ethiopia has five official federal working languages: Amharic, Oromo, Somali, Tigrinya, and Afar

3)- Botswana 🇧🇼 - While English is the official language, Setswana (Tswana) holds national language status in Botswana.

4)- Kenya 🇰🇪 - In addition to English and Swahili, Kenya recognizes several indigenous languages as national languages, such as Kikuyu, Luo, and Kamba.

5)- Malawi 🇲🇼 - English is the official language, but Chichewa, an indigenous language, is widely spoken and enjoys national language status.

6)- Namibia 🇳🇦 - Namibia recognizes several indigenous languages, including Oshiwambo, Otjiherero, Damara/Nama, and others, as national languages alongside English.

10)- Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 - While English is the primary official language, Zimbabwe recognizes 16 indigenous languages, including Shona, Sindebele (Ndebele), and Chewa.
