The memories of the performances on Saturday are still fresh at Tender Talents. Brass for Africa with British Council Uganda brought us brilliant performances from the African Women's Orchestra all the way from Kenya and a magnificent band of the amazing ladies from the different centers of Brass for Africa.
We are infinitely grateful for the support given to us and for choosing us to host these remarkable performances.

Well that’s a wrap. For a week, the students at Tender Talents Magnet School have been preparing presentations for our audience made up of parents, guardians, alumni and representatives from some of our partners. It has been such a blast. The presentations have been breathtaking. The theme this year was Technology and Culture in Harmony.
They have showcased a number of performances such as poems, set pieces, music ensembles and many other amazing performances. We appreciate all the hard work the students have done and all the people who have come to support them. Where as it is a competition, it is also a celebration of the work the students have invested in their music and learning journey. We appreciate the adjudicator Dr. Kagumba Andrew from the university of Newfoundland in Canada. As a former teacher, we appreciate his guidance and support with helping grow the performing arts in Uganda. We also appreciate Mr. Polycarp Kyagulanyi another adjudicator who also guided and encouraged students in today’s presentations. To all teachers, trainers and the administrators we only have thanks to give. We thank all our partners for supporting the amazing work that is going to educate our students at Tender Talents and to keep growing our skills. Well done everybody

We have just completed a wonderful exchange through the Theater Connect program facilitated by Tim Steckler. While it was a short time sharing our artifacts, listening to stories and discussing complex social issues from our students’ perspectives, there have been incredible benefits for our students. We have had engaging, collaborative discussions and activities that have honed our creative and problem solving skills. Thank you to the amazing interns, facilitators and teachers from Intempo. We also appreciate the brilliant students whose stories, culture and wisdom have widened our perspective on the world around us and how to approach some complex situations. One major takeaway for us is that through theater we can demonstrate situations from the simplest to the most complex in the world. We thank Creative Connections for giving us this rare and opportunity. Mweebale nyo 🇺🇬

Today was our first session meeting our friends from Intempo based in Connecticut USA. It has been a marvelous interaction as we learn from each other despite the distance between us. So many gems of wisdom have been shared. We thank you our friends Intempo and we look forward to more engaging, insightful learning moments with you.
