Ngalabi Short Film Festival Ngalabi Short Film Festival is an annual Short Film Festival by GZK/UGCS. It celebrates short films from Uganda, Africa and Germany.

Ngalabi Short Film Festival is a collaboration between Goethe-Zentrum Kampala/UGCS and Maisha Film Lab.

The Ngalabi Short Film Festival returns!

This year, we are celebrating our 10th anniversary and honouring the past decade of amazing African storytelling, creativity and community. Look forward to a lineup of brand new short films from Uganda and across Africa, highlights of our legacy filmmakers from past editions, workshops and thrilling live events.
