Highlights from the iUpShift Engagement at Vorm Offices

On Wednesday ,14th May 2025, Vorm Offices along Ndejje Road buzzed with energy, creativity, and purpose as we hosted a powerful engagement session under the iUpShift Programme by Wezesha. This session brought together young people from diverse backgrounds with a shared passion for innovation, social entrepreneurship, and community transformation.

The goal of the session was simple but impactful: to connect, inspire, and equip youth with tools to bring their ideas to life.

Throughout the day, participants engaged in interactive discussions, idea-sharing, and collaboration, exploring real-life community challenges and how they could develop solutions through innovation. From climate change and youth unemployment to digital inclusion and education, no idea was too small—and every voice mattered.

Vorm Media recently had the honor of hosting representatives from Wezesha Impact, the International Labour Organization (ILO), and Windle Trust. These esteemed organizations recognized and appreciated Vorm Media’s commitment to equipping youth with essential digital media and storytelling skills.

In an era where digital literacy is a fundamental tool for personal and professional growth, Vorm Media has dedicated itself to creating opportunities for young people—especially refugees and marginalized youth—to explore and harness the power of digital storytelling. Through training, mentorship, and hands-on experience, the organization empowers young creatives to shape their narratives, tell impactful stories, and contribute meaningfully to the digital economy.

During the visit, stakeholders from Wezesha Impact, ILO, and Windle Trust commended Vorm Media’s efforts in establishing an entity that fosters creativity, innovation, and economic empowerment.
