Looking at Uganda's music industry, it's not news for the lack of women engineers and producers. And for years, there has been gender imbalance in music production worldwide.
At recording studios, women work as receptionists or, in case of a concert, women are rarely seen outside the box office.

At Mancos Records, we train at-risk young women to become music producers and prepare them to join the industry which has been male reality
