HAKA Mukiga is a musician, instrumentalist, vocalist, dancer, poet and chereographer in Uganda, Africa, He is greatly passionate about AFRICAN CULTURE from which he derives inspiration to write song and poems. Haka is a Rukiga word derived from the Basigi Clan. Among the Bakiga are 10 clans, specifically Basigi are divided into the Barunga and Bahaka. Therefore, I am HAKA from the hills "HAKA Muki

I stand for Identity, Creativity, Harmony and Unity in African Music. Music is the only form of intellectual expression upon which world principles are determined. I use Rukiga to communicate, educate clarify and disseminate "AFRICAN MY-STORY" to pass onto generations. "For we are who we are and with out our history (MY-STORY) there is no mystery".
