Right Vs wrong.
I'm very much convinced that too much wrong will never become right likewise, no matter how uncommon the right may be, it will never become wrong.
Yes, we are living in an error where; people pay alot to cover right with wrong perhaps in this case to justify wrong by popularizing it at the expense of what may be right.
I have openly come up to set the record right on the issue of "power-play", being an artist who would love to see music/art thrive with its beauty being the only factor for distribution.
People pay alot of sums to have their art aired on platforms that were established to consume that content, bribing people that are being paid to play that content for the benefit of their stations as well.
We eventually named that sort of bribe(power play fees) just to make it sound formal.
What is good will always be good and it will always make it's way to the populace.
what is wrong will still be wrong no matter how many times its played on media though it has killed alot of naturally good talent.
People are now investing less in quality content production but focusing so much on content distribution and promotion at all costs.
I stand to be corrected if I'm wrong but I just feel like we can have a free Uganda, a country freely ran on merit rather than Babylon paper (money).
Invest in good content production, do your best and let God do the rest. You will love everything that shall come your way.
We no longer celebrate awards, do you know WHY? because we all know the science and politics behind winning those awards. An award has no value in itself unless it is purely awarded on merit and the only measure should be the artist's uniqueness and the beauty of the art.
Let's not sit back as content producers, until only the best is good enough.
