CONDOLENCE MESSAGE FROM TUGENDE MU KIKADDE

It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we at have received the tragic news of the passing of the legendary Master parrot.

On behalf of our management, partners, artists, fans, and the entire Tugende Mu Kikadde family, we extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and the countless admirers whose lives he touched through his remarkable talent and vibrant spirit.

Master Parrot was more than an entertainer; he was a gifted artist whose unique voice, creativity, and stage presence brought joy and laughter to generations. His contribution to Uganda’s entertainment industry will forever be remembered and celebrated.

As an organization dedicated to honoring and preserving the legacy of our cultural icons, we had eagerly looked forward to hosting Master Parrot at our upcoming annual event 2026. We were excited to welcome him onto our stage and celebrate his enduring contribution to the arts alongside fellow legends. Sadly, that opportunity has been taken from us too soon.

His absence will be deeply felt, and the stage that was prepared to receive him will forever miss his energy, charisma, and talent. While he may no longer be with us in person, his legacy will continue to inspire audiences and future generations of performers.

May the Almighty grant strength, comfort, and peace to his family during this difficult time, and may Master Parrot’s soul rest in eternal peace.

Gone too soon, but never forgotten.

TUGENDE MU KIKADDE

Christopher Sebaduka was a talented artist whose music resonated deeply with audiences throughout his career. Born on February 15, 1954, in Kampala, Uganda, Sebaduka’s passion for music began at an early age and would shape his life’s journey. From his formative years, Sebaduka displayed a natural aptitude for singing and songwriting.

He possessed a rich, soulful voice that captivated listeners and a knack for crafting melodies that touched the hearts of his audience. Drawing inspiration from various musical genres, including Afrobeat, reggae, and traditional Ugandan music, Sebaduka developed a unique style that blended the richness of his cultural heritage with contemporary influences. Sebaduka rose to prominence in the 1970s, during a vibrant period in Uganda’s music scene. His music became immensely popular, and his songs quickly became anthems for the nation. Hits such as “Malimali,” “Ebimbe,” and “Wankwata Nyo” showcased his vocal prowess and lyrical depth, earning him a dedicated fanbase.

Tragically, Christopher Sebaduka’s life was cut short on October 18, 1997, when he passed away at the age of 43. His untimely death left a void in the music industry and a profound sense of loss among his fans. However, his music continues to resonate with audiences, reminding them of his extraordinary talent and his significant contributions to Ugandan music.
