CHRIST FUN COMEDY SHOW
Christ Fun Comedy Show is an idea that was conceived in July 2019 by Mr. Muwanguzi Benard. The show came out of a need to create a platform for entertainment and fun among the Christian brotherhood in Uganda.
Christian based comedy shows are a new venture in Uganda, it is quite a challenge to break through the entertainment industry in Uganda especially in building an audience and bringing comedians together from different churches to partner and nurture the interests of upcoming events like these. Mr. Muwanguzi identified a great need for such events; most established comedy shows are not Christian or religious based.
Christ Fun Comedy Show is a weekly Christian event that will be held twice in a month. The show will be organized with a series of activities including musical performances from gospel artistes, drama productions especially from local christian comedians among other fun activities. The purpose of the show is to provide Christians with a platform for fun and entertainment. It will provide the opportunity for people to love on one another; it will connect people from different walks of life. The Christ Fun Comedy Show will attract both Christians and non-believers from all over the country. This show will work as a distraction from the normal day to day routine of life which can be exhausting.
The comedy show is focused on giving the Christian brotherhood a chance to have fun the Christian way with the end of changing the popular misconception that Christians are boring. Every year there is a new comedy house that opens up in Uganda but for most of them, their content is abusive and not good for Christian body consumption. T
