- FROM IDEAS TO STORIES
Yesterday, our stepped into and began stories from common and within their school community.

What followed was exciting, expressive, and honestly . ❤️

Students shared ideas, explored different experiences, and began developing stories together. What surprised and encouraged us most was how they kept turning their ideas toward , , and .
Some of these will now be developed into , giving the students an opportunity to write, act, create and tell stories using their own .

Other story ideas will continue through the Writers Club, where they can be developed further.
We were reminded once again that students have powerful stories to tell when we create the space for them to , , and themselves.

THEIR VOICES. THEIR STORIES. THEIR FUTURE. 🎙️

One of the most meaningful parts of introducing Voices at The Pioneer School was hearing directly from the students.

After our conversation about the power of their , and in this digital era, students had the opportunity to reflect on what they had learnt and share their experiences in their own words.

Their testimonies remind us that every student has ideas worth exploring, stories worth telling and the potential to use their voice to make a positive difference.

At , we don't simply want students to appear in stories. We want to empower them to , and stories—with creativity, confidence, responsibility and purpose.

This is the beginning of a journey, and we look forward to seeing the stories these young voices will bring to life.

Because when students discover the power of their voices, they can begin to see the impact they can make.

EVERY STUDENT HAS A VOICE. EVERY VOICE HAS INFLUENCE. 🎙️

What happens when we give students the opportunity to discover the power of their and use them to tell stories that matter?

During our first School Voices visit to The Pioneer School, we had an engaging conversation with students about , the power of their voices, and the influence of in this digital era.

Our conversation was inspired by Mark 4:11, where Jesus speaks about the mysteries of the Kingdom of God. Throughout His ministry, Jesus used parables and stories to communicate deep truths, helping people see, understand and connect with the message of the Kingdom.

At , we believe stories are more than just words or entertainment. They can shape , , communicate and create meaningful .

Through , we are creating a space where students can discover, develop and tell stories that matter, while learning to use their creativity and digital tools responsibly.

The excitement, curiosity and passion for stories we witnessed at The School reminded us why this work matters. And this is only the beginning!

We are raising a generation that doesn't just consume stories, but learns to create and tell them with purpose. 🎥🌱

SCHOOL VOICES! | OUR FIRST SCHOOL VISIT

A new journey of creativity, expression and positive impact has begun!

was excited to launch its first engagement at , where students explored the power of their voices and the role of mobile phones in shaping stories and communicating in this digital era.

What stood out most was the students’ enthusiasm, curiosity and willingness to participate. Their excitement to learn, express themselves, share ideas and discover their creative potential was truly inspiring. It was a powerful reminder that every student has a voice, and every voice has the potential to make a difference.

But this is only the beginning!

On our next visit, we look forward to working with the students to discover and develop stories around real-life issues affecting young people, including , , and other challenges in their communities. From exploring story ideas to and , students will take an active role in bringing their stories to life.

Our goal is to to become thoughtful, responsible storytellers who can use their voices and creativity to inspire positive change.

A heartfelt thank you to the and the entire Kitintale Progressive SS community for welcoming us and giving these young voices an opportunity to be heard.

INTRODUCING SCHOOL VOICES!

We are excited to officially introduce – , an initiative dedicated to empowering students to discover, develop, and use their voices to create positive impact in their schools and communities in this digital era.

We believe that when young people are given the right environment, guidance, and creative tools, their voices can become powerful instruments for awareness, connection, inspiration, and transformation.

To see a generation of empowered students using their voices, creativity, and stories to inspire positive change and transformation in their schools, communities, and beyond.

To empower students to discover and use their voices by creating meaningful stories that bring impact and transformation.

Through School Voices, we empower students to explore storytelling and use mobile phones and other creative tools to develop stories, skits, digital content, and films inspired by themes and experiences common in their school communities.

From discovering story ideas and writing to acting, filming, and sharing their work responsibly, students get the opportunity to learn, collaborate, and grow while telling stories that matter to them.

School Voices is about building confidence, nurturing creativity, developing character, encouraging teamwork, and helping students become responsible digital storytellers. It is about giving young people the space to express themselves, listen to others, and use their creativity with purpose

We’re excited to share that we’ve successfully completed the production of our short film “Akatambi - Before You Share.”
Through this project, our team leader had the opportunity to be part of the Love Facts Incubator Program by Media Challenge Initiative, a campaign focused on guiding communities to navigate information responsibly during this critical period.

“Before You Share” highlights the real impact of misinformation and the importance of pausing, verifying, and sharing responsibly before forwarding content online. This film is deeply rooted in everyday community experiences and conversations we see happening around us.
We can’t wait to release this campaign film and begin important conversations that empower our communities to stay informed, calm, and safe online.
