My name is Hanan Mastula Habib, a member of Set Her Free.
Before joining, my life was filled with stress, fear, and self-doubt. I didn’t believe in myself, and I felt completely lost.

Everything changed when I joined Set Her Free. Through their camps, events, and supportive community, I gained exposure, learned new skills, and discovered opportunities I never knew existed. I attended camps in Lira and Entebbe, the She Is Hip-Hop event, and the Digi-Art Fest—experiences that rebuilt my confidence and opened my mind.

Set Her Free helped me rediscover my value, build confidence, and find my purpose.

Today, I am a confident, hopeful, and empowered young woman who believes in her future.

OUR REGION TOURS – KYAKA II IMPACT

Over the past weeks, our Set Me Free Regional Tours have touched the hearts of many girls in Kyaka II Refugee Settlement. Through the power of Art, Dance, and Creative Expression, these young queens are finding their voices, healing their pain, and reclaiming their strength.

We have witnessed girls break barriers, open up, smile again, and feel set free—not by force, but through the transformative magic of Art.

This is why we do what we do.
This is why we keep going.
This is why the girl child must always be empowered.
