5 things Sound Engineer hates to see Singer do
After the Holy spirit helping you to minister with power and unction, the next person you should take seriously is your sound engineer . They are mostly underated when it comes to church package. Because they work from backstage doesn't mean they are less important in fact they are the most important factor for a successful performance . Take it or leave it. No matter how angelic your voice is, if the sound system is bad trust me your voice is bad ! That's the best way to put it.
5 things your sound Engineer hates to see you do with his mic as a singer .
1. Thou shall not hand check the mic! Don't ever hit the mic on the head just to test / sound check. It's not professional. This is harmful to the mic and the receiver.
2. Thou shall not tangle the microphone wire ! For no reason should your wrap and tangle the microphone cable !
3. Thou shall remember to always switch off the microphone after use ! Don't drop the microphone on the podium without switching off ! It could cause a serious feedbacks.
4. Thou shall not hold the microphone on the head ! How would your microphone capture and breathe your sound well when you have covered the head ?
5. Thou for no reason must you carelessly allow the microphone to fall ! For no reason must you allow his mic to fall !
