Our Story
UKC MUSIC and DANCE TROUPE (UKC TROUPE) is a Kids Canada initiative. Our kids are trained in both traditional and urban music and dance by local and international professional artists that generously donate their time. Our projects help to keep our kids off the street and provide not only opportunities to travel outside of their village but give them an opportunity to raise funds for basic life needs and school fees. Only 10-20% of profits, raised from shows are used to maintain costumes and instruments, for food and to help push Uganda Kids Canada projects forward at our UKC Centre of Art and Technology in Bombo, Uganda. Heartfelt thanks to all of our generous supporters who have taken the time to donate time and funds to empower our kids. Please help our kids to help themselves.
