La chaleur est forte. Les climatisations gouttent dans cette allée à l’arrière des immeubles. L’atmosphère est pourtant paisible dans cet espace à l’abri de la foule hong-kongaise.
Au loin, une fenêtre de lumière s’ouvre sur la baie, symbole d’un futur, d’un nouveau monde à réinventer où les hommes vivraient en harmonie avec la nature, tout en respectant leurs propres cultures.
Une femme himba à droite de la toile s’interroge sur son avenir et son mode de vie : sera-t-il un jour uniformisé avec celui des standards internationaux ?
Une femme occidentale au loin, lui tourne le dos.
Les humains sauront-ils demain s’allier pour répondre à un enjeu climatique globalisé, tout est respectant leurs cultures locales ?
Tout est encore possible.

The heat is intense. Air conditioning units drip in this alleyway behind the buildings. However, the atmosphere is peaceful in this space, sheltered from the Hong Kong crowds.
In the distance, a window of light opens onto the bay—a symbol of a future, a new world waiting to be reinvented, where humanity might live in harmony with nature while respecting individual cultures.
A Himba woman on the right side of the canvas ponders her future and way of life: will they one day be homogenized to match international standards?
A Western woman in the distance has her back turned to her.
Will humanity find a way to unite in the face of a global climate crisis while still respecting local cultures?
Anything is still possible.
