Zero rapper-like dental jewelry is a new trend
Remember the clips of noughties rappers? In addition to baseball caps, oversized clothes and “personalized” jewelry, another important detail in their looks always draws attention to themselves - all of them wear jewelry on their teeth - made of gold and precious stones.
However, in fairness, this trend did not appear in the 2000s and not even in the 80s. It goes back to ancient times - around the eighth century BC. It was then that the women of the Etruscan people, who inhabited the territory of modern Italy, began to remove their front teeth in order to replace them with inserted ones made of gold. The Maya and many other ancient civilizations later used a similar technique.
