I'm thrilled to share my latest passion project: a full, "blind" sound redesign of an incredible Silksong fan animation!
I stumbled upon this amazing 3D combat animation of Hornet by the super-talented Sylvan Kim and knew I had to give it a high-impact, cinematic audio treatment. Since I've never heard the original game's audio, every sound you hear - from the sharp slash of the needle to the crunch of shattering ground—was created from scratch, based solely on the visuals.
It was a fantastic challenge to match the fluid, graceful, and deadly feel of the animation. The video also includes a short breakdown of my process in Reaper.

I've been a huge fan of RoboCop since I was a kid, and I finally got to create something for it! 😅
I did a complete sound redesign of a key scene.
Instead of trying to "fix" a classic, I wanted to see what it would sound like with a modern interpretation. It’s an homage to the original, using a full spectrum of today's sound tools.

It was a real pleasure to collaborate with Shawn Donnelly and consult on his fantastic narrative podcast, "Back to Back to the Future."

We explored some exciting possibilities in audio production, including how to leverage AI-powered tools to enhance the storytelling and maintain superb sound quality. The podcast has a brilliant concept: it reimagines movie history by exploring what would have happened if Eric Stoltz had never been replaced by Michael J. Fox.

What happens when a film sound designer tackles a famous video game scene... completely blind?
I decided to find out. I took on a fun but intense challenge: a full sound redesign of a scene from Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding, a game I've never played or heard before. Every single sound—from the tense ambience to the magical effects—was created from scratch.
This was a fantastic exercise in creative problem-solving and a great showcase of the kind of immersive, cinematic audio I love to build for my clients.
