We are delighted to announce that Plantae 2026, the Society of Botanical Artists’ online exhibition, is now open.

Celebrating the beauty, precision, and diversity of contemporary botanical art, this year’s exhibition brings together exceptional works by artists from around the world, each inspired by the richness and complexity of the natural world.

From watercolour, oil, gouache, and acrylic to graphite, coloured pencil, pen and ink, and more, Plantae 2026 reflects the breadth of botanical practice today, combining botanical accuracy, artistic excellence, and originality.

The exhibition is open online from 1st June to 30th June 2026.

I still can’t believe I’m writing these words!

I recently received a letter from the Society of Botanical Artists informing me that my work, “Phacelia,” has been awarded the Exhibiting Excellence Award for Watercolor.

When I read the letter, I was truly shocked and overjoyed. It is a great honor for me to receive such recognition from one of the most respected societies of botanical artists.

“Phacelia” is a piece that required a great deal of time, patience, attention, and love for every detail. That is why it is especially meaningful that it has been so highly praised.

I sincerely thank the SBA Council for this award and for their support of artists dedicated to botanical art.


До сих пор не могу поверить, что пишу эти слова!

Недавно я получила письмо от Society of Botanical Artists с сообщением о том, что моя работа «Phacelia» удостоена премии Exhibiting Excellence Award for Watercolour («За выдающееся мастерство в акварели»).

Когда я прочитала это письмо, я испытала настоящий шок и огромную радость. Для меня большая честь получить такое признание от одного из самых уважаемых обществ ботанических художников.

«Phacelia» — работа, в которую было вложено много времени, терпения, внимания и любви к каждой детали. Поэтому особенно ценно, что она получила столь высокую оценку.

Искренне благодарю Совет SBA за эту награду и поддержку художников, посвятивших себя ботаническому искусству.

The international online botanical art exhibition Plantae 2026 opened today, and I am delighted that my work, “Phacelia,” is featured in the exhibition.

I would like to thank the Society of Botanical Artists not only for the opportunity to participate in this wonderful exhibition, but also for the excellent organization of the online showcase.

It is a great honor for me to be part of this project and to present my work alongside artists from different countries.

Thank you to everyone who supports me on my creative journey.

Special thanks to Ekaterina Spiritus for her talent in teaching, inspiring, and sharing her love of botany through art.

Special thanks also go to the photographer Ira Hilger , whose work with phacelia served as the foundation and inspiration for this composition.

Сегодня открылась международная онлайн-выставка ботанического искусства Plantae 2026, и я рада, что моя работа «Фацелия» представлена в её экспозиции.

Для меня большая честь быть частью этого проекта и представить свою работу вместе с художниками из разных стран.

When we create, we open up new horizons within ourselves. Art is not just a finished work; it is a journey where every mistake, every unfinished thought, and every experiment is important. It is through the process, through patience and attention to detail, that we understand that the creative path is a reflection of our lives: full of nuances, possibilities, and small wonders waiting for us to notice them.

Создавая, мы открываем в себе новые горизонты. Искусство — это не только готовая работа, это путь, где каждая ошибка, каждая незаконченная мысль и каждый эксперимент важны. Именно через процесс, через терпение и внимание к мелочам мы понимаем, что творческий путь — это отражение нашей жизни: полный нюансов, возможностей и маленьких чудес, которые ждут, пока мы их заметим.
