Money really does grow on trees—at least in New England, that is. In 2014, the six-state region comprised of Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut expected $3 billion in tourism income from fall foliage, according to the Tampa Bay Times. In most parts of the region, peak foliage spectating comes around mid-October.
