Silk is a whisper from the silkworm, spun into threads of light and luxury. It drapes like a sigh, glows with a quiet sheen, and breathes with you through the night.

What momme (mm) means, in a single breath:
Momme is silk’s weight—how thick and substantial it feels in the hand.
Lighter (6–12 mm): like a breeze, airy and delicate.
Mid (12–16 mm): graceful, versatile, with just the right heft.
Heavier (16–25 mm): a plush embrace, luxurious and enduring.

Why it matters:
Higher mm = more body and durability, a lasting glow that wears well.
Lower mm = lighter, more flighty drape, perfect for layering and summer ease.

A glimpse from the attic: the last-floor of an apartment building in the former USSR, Lviv, Ukraine; slanted ceilings, pigeons at the windowsill for crumbs, and the old green tile oven that warmed more than the room. The building looks peeled and worn, yet in my memory it was pure magic—a place where dreams took flight, and drawings came alive.
