Pure joy - showing La Palisiada in the American Cinematheque , cinephile mecca of Los Angeles founded in 1984 by Oscar-winning director Sydney Pollack!

About a hundred cinephiles, journalists and filmmakers gathered in the historic Los Feliz cinema to see and discuss Ukraine’s Oscar entry. Producer Vincent Landay (Her, Being John Malkovich, Where the Wild Things Are) was spotted among the viewers praising the film after the screening.

Producer Sashko Chubko presented the film in conversation with Zorianna Kit . Watch the full Q&A on our YouTube channel!

The screening was organized as a part of Oscar campaign, supported by Razom for Ukraine .for.ukraine and Ukrainine State Film Agency .

La Palisiada at the Opening of the European Film Festival in Stockholm.

The screening was followed by an engaging discussion with the set designer of the film, Ryta Kulyk. Audience had a chance to delve deeper into the process of film making and get to know more about challenges Ukrainian film industry faces nowadays.
