3D visualizations can create renders for products that don't exist. Such a great solution for product development, isn't it?

It allows doing marketing just in time, including testing how people will react to different product types.

We call this visualization project "Natural furnishings."

Imagine you have an idea to produce a dozen wooden tables and want to market them on your website or other marketplaces. To make the world a better place by selling people your tables. Better tables, better mood, better world, the strategy should work.

However, you need photos for marketing, right? But you don't even have tables produced at this moment and no budget for production. So 3D Renders (visualization) could be a perfect helper. It allows you to create something that doesn't exist and show it whenever you want.

Photo vs Render

Creating the renders of SFMOMA (San Francisco museum of modern art) helps us sharpen our skills and develop a sense of beauty. Such a project always has an incredible impact on our skills. Our main task was to achieve the maximum similarity between the photo and the final render.

Today is world urbanism day, or "world town planning day."
Have you heard about it?

Urbanism is the study of how inhabitants of urban areas interact with the built environment, and it has the following principles:

1. walkability
2. connectivity
3. mixed-use & diversity
4. mixed housing
5. quality architecture & urban design

6. traditional neighborhood structure
7. increased density
8. green transportation
9. sustainability
10. quality of life

In this publication, we share a collection from the exterior renders we did for our clients that indeed follow the last principle - the quality of life for people that live or will live there.

Which of the principle do you like the most?

There are two ways to create renders. The first is to start with the technical task; this is the usual way for commercial projects.

However, for portfolio projects, there is another way to create renders using photos as a reference.

In this project, we used photo references of SFMOMA. It inspired us with its volumes and architecture.

The results we have managed to achieve can see in this publication and in our publication on Behance. Find it here:

In 2017, the Suburbia studio team invested a lot of effort and time in analyzing different projects to collect references for renders. Such a process is necessary to build expertise in architectural visualization. While this process, dozens of projects and thousands of images were analyzed.

And SFMOOMA Extention project stood out from the rest among the others and attracted us with its beauty and variety of spaces, and we decided to recreate it in 3D.

The results we have managed to achieve you can see in this publication and more images on Behance. Find here: https://www.behance.net/gallery/153832751/SFMOMA-CGI

Once upon a time, Suburbia studio created renders for the Villa Lanterna project for interior designer Alessandra Guanziroli. The house is located in a beautiful location near lake Como, Italy.

The task for the project was to create still interior renderings, but having said that, we decided to go further than that, after project completion, and recreate the house using Unreal Engine.

In this video, we share the shots our team made.
