The festivities are coming to an end, and it’s time to get back to work. Our studio opens its warm, cozy doors once again, inviting us to dive right back in.

The festival was incredible. It was filled with vivid impressions and little adventures. We drove away with new names saved in our phones, new ideas brewing in our headsand that quiet bittersweet lingering feeling that always follows a grand gathering.

And now we are happily returning to our favorite routine: brushes, paints, mandalas and orders. A familiar light falls softly across the tables. Everything is right where it belongs. And that first glance into the quiet studio felt just as deeply moving as looking at someone you’ve missed dearly.

There is a unique magic in coming back.

After three incredible stages of the festival it is specially good to hear the silence. After so many faces, returning to our own inner circle feels especially warm. After the celebration, the urge to craft and create is stronger than ever.

Once, we received a comment on one of our posts:

“I feel sorry for people who use standard LEDs but don’t use Smart LEDs.”

Back then, we weren’t working with this type of lighting yet and honestly, reading that stung a little.

Today, we can’t stop marveling at how stunning our pieces look with the new lighting.

The previous version is still available as an option in our shop. It features a calm, soft glow and is controlled by remote. But look at this updated version! It’s now controlled via a smartphone app and offers hundreds of lighting scenarios, smooth transitions, dynamic effects and simultaneous glowing across the full spectrum of colors.

So, yeah, listening to other people’s perspectives really pays off and thank you to those who don’t stay silent in the comments 🙏🤍

To the dear soul who once decided that light’s only job was to be illumination — I think we both know that isn’t true anymore.

Light has been underestimated for far too long. It was used to read, to cook dinner, to find keys, and to avoid bumping into furniture in the night. Humanity spent thousands of years defeating the darkness, and now that victory has been won, it is time to truly celebrate.

We have built architecture right inside the light and now it lives there.

This lamp is not for those who simply want to brighten a room, but rather for someone who sees the story behind simple things.

Because the light of Solips was not made to reveal objects.
It can create a world that didn’t exist before it.

The most exciting part happens before the final result.

For instance:
Watching the wood dress itself in black. Watching the laser beam carve its way forward, like a long handwritten letter penned by something other than a human hand.
Watching an LED strip wait impatiently on the workbench, eager to step inside and bring these patterns to life with a full spectrum of color.

The final touches. Assembling. Securing the last screws.
And here it is — the result.

A set of two “Vertical Luminous” floor lamps.

Today they leave our workshop for their new home.

Life has three favorite ways of showing us who we are.

An Honest Look. This is a path for the strong in spirit. Eliminate self-deception, roles, labels from your toolkit, and only then look within. That is where your true self lives. And it is wonderful.

Dialogue. Because a human becomes person only alongside another people. A sincere conversation can become a true prism for a deeper understanding of yourself and how you manifest among others.

The Mirroring Effect. Perhaps the trickiest method of all. It demands mindfulness and utmost honesty. Every person reflects back what lives inside us. Beautiful or not, it is always your own potential.

At Solips we create objects that bring light into space. Of course, light does not answer questions but it can create a state in which you can pause, exhale after the endless noise and face yourself. A state where an honest look stops being frightening, conversation deepens and reflections reveal not flaws, but beauty and strength.
