Across Tokyo, Kobe, and Osaka, Coloropera, an immersive audiovisual work by Ukrainian artist Alevtina Kakhidze , unfolded through a series of installations, public discussions, artist talks, and immersive presentations — opening spaces for dialogue around culture, resilience, memory, and the role of art in times of war.
The project was presented at the Tech for Impact Summit in Tokyo, the Delegation of the European Union to Japan , the Matsuguchi Tadashi Ukrainian Research Center, Kobe Gakuin University , and Knowledge Capital in Osaka, where Coloropera was also experienced through a 360° VR format.
Bringing the project to Japan marked an important moment in extending contemporary Ukrainian cultural discourse into an international context — through exchange, institutional collaboration, and direct engagement with audiences across different cities and formats.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all partners, contributors, speakers, and visitors who became part of these events and helped shape this shared experience.
