Let’s talk about what happened last weekend at in Zagreb. What an amazing 1st edition. So many cool things, great 5 star hotel venue, nicely decorated ballroom, great organization by , a short 2 night show program with all great shows, a killah DJ line up .sg , amazing dancers, amazing workshops and seminars, you couldn’t ask for anything more for a 1st edition.

Thanks to and the entire Salsa Grand team for a wonderful event and being such wonderful host, you were with the people and you dance and party with us, hey there was even cake and free sparkling wine on Saturday 🥰

Thanks to for sharing the stage with me for the First Impression Lasting Dances seminar which I hope will be many more and a big shoutout to the Gents & .vdc for hosting the pre-parties 👊🏾💪🏾

We have just lost a giant of a Latin Jazz, Latin Music, Mambo, Guaguanco, Cha Cha, Son Montuno and more.. Mr. Eddie Palmieri I had the opportunity to see him in New York for the first time many years and again in Europe. I have many of his albums on Vinyl as he was one of the artists that stood out for me when i started learning to dance salsa plus I’m a huge piano lover and Eddie was a master on the keys 🎹 R.I.P Eddie 😢

📣 Did you know at Vivaz you can be a part of this amazing percussion workshop where you the dancers can learn how to play your favourite instrument? Yes it’s happening 😎
WS time tomorrow 12:00-14:00 on Saturday July 19, 2025
is a percussionist based in Sofia, Bulgaria. He has studied the Afro-Cuban tradition in France, Spain and Cuba.Since 2012 he has been a part of numerous musical projects and worked with some of the best musicians in the country. He manages to implement the Afro-Cuban percussion in different musical genres including salsa, Latin jazz, reggae, funk, bossa nova and pop. Apart from his active performing career he is also a passionate educator and organizes workshops, clinics and drum circles.
Martin Velev is a multi-instrumenatlist and salsa instructor based in Sofia, Bulgaria. The combination between teaching Cuban salsa and playing Afro-Cuban/Salsa music guided Martin to organizing musicality workshops for dancers, who want to gain better understanding about the Latin music, its rhythms and elements.
