🇺🇦Proud to announce that Olga Beskhmelnitsyna became the Chairman of the Board at Ukrainian Film Academy Українська Кіноакадемія!🎥

Olga is a well known cultural ambassador, producer ( Кінокомпанія "Магіка-фільм", DGTL RLGN, ESSE Production House), and change-maker who led cross-cultural projects in Ukraine and globally.

Also, she co-founded the film company "2Brave Productions" and two editions of the English-language guide Kyiv by Locals.

🎞Key projects:"Stop Earth" (Crystal Bear Generation 14+ on Berlinale - Berlin International Film Festival 2021), "Anna" (2019) by Dekel Berenson (award for the best short film at BIFA 2019, in the BAFTA shortlist), "Breaking into Baikonur" (2020), "Land of Ivan" (2020), "Collapse. How Ukrainians destroyed the empire of evil" (documentary series 2021 for Suspilne Суспільне Культура), and many others.

🇫🇷 The French publisher Editions Stock released the book “Hommage à l'Ukraine” with essays by 14 Ukrainian authors about the Ukrainian regions and cities: Karpa Irena, Andrey Kurkov, Oleksandr Mykhed, Boris Khersonskyi, Artem Tchekh, Tara’s Prokhasko, Volodymyr Rafeenko and others.

Directed by Emmanuel Ruben and remarkably translated by Iryna Dmytrychyn, this collection of unpublished texts will allow French readers to understand contemporary Ukraine through literature.

Kyiv-based publishing house Книголав will present the Ukrainian edition.

The book prepared with the support of WeEurope, the platform embodies all initiatives in defense of European principles, values of democracy, and freedom. WeEurope was founded in March 2022 by Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko, ex-Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt and French ex-Minister, politician and public figure Alain Madelin.

🇺🇦🇦🇺 Ukrainian scultpture will be presented in Australia at the world's largest free outdoor sculpture show - the Sculpture by the Sea at Sydney's Bondi.

It features four large works by Ukrainian artists as well as six smaller ones.

▪️Oleksii Zolotariov' Wind Rose is 2.5 metres high and formed from triangles of corten steel, while Dmitriy Grek's bronze Contemplation shows two figures balanced on a curve, bringing to mind a journey by boat.

▪️Nikita Zigura's ZiguraArt Global Warming is a pair of giant yellow cherries more than 3m high, with red areas alluding to global warming hotspots.

The large-scale sculptures have been shipped from Hamburg to Sydney and are yet to be installed.

🇺🇦Ukrainian design within 🇫🇷Paris Design Week

Free Earth project featured 33 creators with their 55 items, most of which were created during the war.

The exhibition represents the energy of Ukraine and inspired by the strength and talent of people who will never give up and never stop creating their freedom and beauty.

🇺🇦Dmytro Kozatsky (Orest), press officer of the Azov Regiment, who is currently in Russian captivity, won the prestigious 🇫🇷Px3 Paris Photography Prize.

His photo series with Azovstal took first place in the "Press/War" category and second place in the overall "Press" categoryy.

The platform features over 600 archival and contemporary films, including Мої думки тихі / My Thoughts Are Silent, Rhino, Stop-Zemlia / стоп-земля and others. The web-site is currently running in test mode.
