We’re happy to announce that Kashtan Records returns with its first vinyl release since 2022. After a long pause, the label presents a new record — Asyncronous — Selected Memories We Never Had.

This is the third EP by the Ukrainian electronic project Asyncronous — a refined continuation of their signature blend of ambient and downtempo. On this release, the duo’s sound gains greater depth and spatiality: layered atmospheric textures, delicate melodic narratives and rich emotional tones create a space between contemporary ambient, electronica and cinematic sound design.

Conceptually, the release explores the idea of memories we never had — images formed through stories, photographs or our own imagination. Through atmospheric compositions, the EP moves within a space between memory and fantasy, where personal experiences, collective imagery and dreams intertwine to create new imagined landscapes.

📦 In a few weeks only 40 vinyl copies will be available in Ukraine. If you’d like to secure one, we recommend placing your order in advance via the form. As soon as the shipment arrives, we’ll begin sending out the records. link in comments.

Asyncronous return with their third EP "Selected Memories We Never Had" – a refined continuation of the Ukrainian project's signature blend of ambient and downtempo. On this release, their sound evolves into a more cinematic, immersive form, shaped by layered atmospheres, subtle melodic narratives, and deep emotional textures. The EP balances introspective mood with strong visual imagination, positioning Asyncronous firmly within the space between contemporary ambient, electronica, and film-influenced sound design.

This release marks the relaunch of Kashtan, a Ukrainian record label curated by Vera Logdanidi. After a pause caused by the full-scale war in Ukraine, Kashtan returns with its first vinyl release since 2022, dedicated to forward-looking Ukrainian electronic music beyond strict genre definitions.

Releases March 6, 2026.
Available on vinyl and digital formats
Pre-order is now open worldwide

There is also a dedicated pre-order option with domestic delivery within Ukraine (no international shipping required).

Ukrainian record label Kashtan is announcing the release of "Voices", a multidisciplinary project by Vera Logdanidi, produced as part of the Q21 Artists-in-Residence program in Vienna last summer.

"Voices" is a collection of soundtracks that features real voice messages and recordings related to the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, which Vera recorded or received on her own phone. The project uses sound fragments of conversations to convey the personal experiences, feelings, and moods of people who woke up on February 24, 2022, at 5 a.m. in new Ukraine and witnessed a full-scale war.

This project was exhibited in September 2022 by MU Hybrid Art House in Eindhoven as part of MOVE! Body Politics in Motion exhibition. By publishing this work online as a new release on the label Kashtan, Vera commemorates this experience and invites listeners to go through it "receiving" these messages. "Voices" aims to raise awareness of the impact of war on individuals and their communities. The project includes a video with subtitles to provide context for international listeners: youtu.be/0aSLzB3QpL8

"Voices" was curated by Bogomir Doringer, a Serbian/Dutch artist, researcher, and curator. The visual part was done by Natan Markman and curated by Kyiv-based new media art studio Blck Box. The subtitles were prepared by Vladislav Bundikov.

"This project is very personal to me, and I believe that it has an important message to share. My aspiration is for the experiences captured in this project to evoke emotions in listeners, prompting them to take action and help Ukraine."- says Vera Logdanidi.
