St. Stephen's Cathedral, built in the 12th century, is, without exaggeration, a symbol of Vienna and all of Austria. His photo can be seen on all advertising brochures in Austria. Buried in the cathedral are 72 members of the Habsburg dynasty, as well as some of the former rulers of Austria. Inside the cathedral, in one of the chapels, are kept the relics of St. Valentine, the skulls of St. Cosmas and Damian, and a piece of the Last Supper tablecloth. Be sure to listen to the chiming of bells, one of which is a beer hall, announcing the closure of pubs. The temple acquired its present appearance in 1511.
