The CACTUS cabinet from BUGS Collection is a vivid example of emotional design.
Like a bug that once flew past the house, decided to enter, folded its wing-doors — and stayed.
Not as an object, but as a presence. Calm, expressive, and slightly surreal.

The facades are created using pyrography — one of the oldest techniques of applying imagery to wood through fire. This method gives the surface depth, tactility, and a sense of time captured in the material.

The cabinet stands on solid brass legs.
Their warm, golden tone subtly echoes the facades, grounding the piece and adding a quiet sense of luxury and permanence.

The floor lamp-mirror How Are You? (designer — / PANOPTIKUM Collections) will be featured in the group exhibition Ukrainian Neo-Folklore: from Archaic, through Modernism, to Boho-Funk.

The exhibition takes place as part of 2026 in Paris, January 15–19, and continues after the fair at the Ukrainian Cultural Centre in France (January 22 – February 9).

How Are You? explores sensitivity and inner dialogue, turning vulnerability into a source of strength, flexibility, and confidence. Hand-woven aluminum wire, a built-in mirror, and LED lighting create an object on the boundary between function and poetry.

Ukrainian Neo-Folklore is a collective project showcasing 45 works by 25 Ukrainian designers and artists, presenting contemporary Ukrainian design as an expression of cultural resilience and creative freedom.

The project is realized with the support of Maison&Objet and under the patronage of the Embassy of Ukraine in France. Curator:
