«Серебрянський ліс», 07.2026, шамот, камʼяна маса, ручне ліплення, поливи, оксиди, електричний випал 1180, H30 x W29 x D16 cm
Ця скульптура присвячена Серебрянському лісу — ботанічному заказнику місцевого значення на Луганщині, відомому також як Кремінський ліс. Колись це був великий сосновий масив, що простягався від Кремінної до межі Донецької області, місце життя сотень видів рослин, птахів і тварин. Тут гніздилися сови, дятли, осоїди, дрозди, одуди та сойки; жили борсуки, видри, куниці, європейські норки, благородні олені, сарни, дикі свині, а інколи й лосі.
Сьогодні цей ландшафт майже повністю втрачений унаслідок повномасштабного російського вторгнення. Багаторічні бойові дії перетворили живий ліс на простір руйнування. Разом із деревами зникли цілі екосистеми, оселища тварин і пам’ять про природний світ, який формувався століттями.
Для мене ця робота є не лише образом втрати. Це спроба зберегти пам’ять про те, чого більше не можна побачити на власні очі.

This sculpture is dedicated to the Serebrianskyi Forest, also known as the Kreminna Forest, a protected botanical reserve in the Luhansk region of eastern Ukraine. Once, it was a vast pine forest stretching from the town of Kreminna to the border of the Donetsk region—a habitat for hundreds of species of plants, birds, and animals. Owls, woodpeckers, honey buzzards, thrushes, hoopoes, and jays nested here, while badgers, otters, martens, European minks, red deer, roe deer, wild boar, and, on rare occasions, moose inhabited the forest.
Today, this landscape has been almost entirely destroyed as a result of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Years of warfare have transformed a living forest into a landscape of devastation. Along with the trees, entire ecosystems disappeared, wildlife habitats were destroyed, and the memory of a natural world that had evolved over centuries was lost.
For me, this work is more than an image of loss. It is an attempt to preserve the memory of something that can no longer be witnessed with one’s own eyes.
