As a sock designer, I’ve noticed something and got curious. Sometimes people sign up for test knitting, receive the pattern and then quietly disappear.No judgment at all.

But I’d really love to understand what’s usually behind this. Is it time, expectations, or something else?

And what makes a test knitting experience enjoyable for you: something that makes you want to stay and finish?
