While I was learning to use an airbrush, my work place looked like thisšŸ¤£
I donā€™t think Iā€™ve ever used so many paints at once.

Besides the paints, thereā€™s glue and a UV flashlight to help the glue harden, two types of varnish, clay for sculpting, two palettes (one didnā€™t fit in the frame), and the airbrush didnā€™t fit in either.

Two days of work, a 3D figure to learn on, and Iā€™ve adapted to the airbrush and the paints, which behave differently.

Itā€™s not easy at first, but I get used to it.

The first photo is one I took, I donā€™t know how many years ago. But I really liked it, despite its gloom.

I thought about drawing it, but back then I couldnā€™t imagine how and didnā€™t feel I could handle the task.

And when I was choosing photos for my new drawings, I finally decided to try drawing something from this photo. I had several ideas, but I couldnā€™t choose just one, so I ended up drawing every idea.

Three different versions of this scene emerged from one photo.

As usual, Mirage served as the model.

The first drawing is a black-and-white graphic with a white borzoi. I consider this work the most elegant in this series.

The second drawing is a dark forest with light wood and a borzoi with Mirageā€™s coloring, which perfectly harmonizes with the surrounding tones.

The third drawing is a lighter, warm-toned forest with even lighter wood and a red borzoi.

The last two works are more rough in ex*****on and visually ā€œbulky,ā€ requiring the right, appropriate design to harmoniously integrate them into the interior.

Although this subject may seem depressing or oppressive, I never attached such a meaning to it, and Iā€™m very glad I painted three of these works, and I love how they turned out.

I recently mentioned that I would be creating three identical works with the same theme, but different techniques and colors.

The previous two are already finished.
This is the third one.

I wanted it to be lighter than the previous one and with a brightly colored greyhound.

Iā€™ll probably tell you about all three works and the photo I used for the painting. For now, Iā€™ll show you this one.

A work I recently completed.
Iā€™ll tell you more about it later, as there will be another similar work in warmer tones, and I already have one in black and white. So, there will be three of them.

When photographing under the varnish, the paint is terribly reflective, making it almost impossible to get a proper photo.
The dark background is uniformly dark throughout the entire painting, without any glare, and the tree isnā€™t as whitešŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

Portrait of Tiara and Mirage)

This drawing was supposed to be part of my old series of drawings, Ā«CharuyZaria Borzoi Family,Ā» or rather, to complete it.

I probably drew this drawing in pencil two years ago, if not more. But something kept distracting me, or I simply didnā€™t feel like working on it.

Only now have I felt the strength and the mood to finish it.

And it, like the entire series, retains its style. Itā€™s the same sheet size (20x30 cm), and the same materials: paper, colored pencils, liner, and a black pen.

Now, with this drawing, three years after I began working on this series, it can be considered complete.
