Friends during the excavation of a sand dune that is thousands of years old and located on the banks of the Ganges River, so perhaps it is a relic of any civilization that develops here, and we see these sand dunes or tin platforms such as sand, maybe a house and their wreckage as he looks at me. Friends that I was interested in and found interesting and original materials, so I can share with you all, but I'm not that close to any reliable information.

While smartphones and 3D TVs continue to dominate our world, typewriters and rotary disk telephones are receding further and further into the past. Robert Moran created a series of photographs collectively titled Relics , isolating old-fashioned objects and presenting them as museum pieces.

The photographer took another step in order to preserve in our memory the inventions that became the basis for the development of modern technologies. Each object is presented in its original form with scratches and cracks, inviting us to reflect on their original functions, as well as to recreate a picture of how they influenced our daily life.

Story three: the witch's mirror
The old mirror in a massive wooden frame originally belonged to a woman who lived on the same street as the heroine's great-grandmother.

“The mirror came to her from her mother, who received it as a gift for a wedding,” says the hostess. - Can you imagine how old he is if my grandmother was born in 1913, and that woman was even older? When the neighbor died, her children gave the mirror to my grandmother. It was around 1989. The grandmother was already old. Then she died, and my mother took the mirror.

The mirror was old, silver. Stains appear on these, as if paint had fallen off. From time to time it turned yellow and did not wash off, it was already difficult to see itself in it.

Shroud of Turin

The Shroud is a canvas in which, according to legend, the body of the executed Jesus Christ was wrapped and on which the imprint of his body remained. The first mention of it dates back to 1353, when Geffroy de Charny, a participant in the Crusades, announced that he possessed this relic. Since 1532, the shroud has been kept in the Cathedral of John the Baptist in Turin, placed in a special ark, and is periodically available for viewing by pilgrims. The Christian Church does not have a single position on the authenticity of the Turin Shroud, and according to radiocarbon analysis, the fabric was made in the XIV century.

Popularity: in 2010, the relic was opened for pilgrimage for the first time in the new millennium, and 2.1 million people saw it in 45 days.
