Це мав бути просто мій особистий щоденник знайомства з досить незвичним для мене хобі.
Якщо чесно, я наївно думала, що все буде так само, як із більшістю творчих занять: купа інформації — інструкції, майстер-класи, книжки. Бери, вивчай, пробуй, набивай руку, удосконалюйся — молодець.
З творчого: я вишиваю, маю досвід вишивки шовком, в’яжу гачком і спицями, займаюся петриківським розписом, трохи шию. Усе це додавало мені впевненості, тому я вже давно так не обламувалася.
Самостійно знайти інформацію мені майже не вдалося — лише туристичні відео зі східних країн. Воно, звісно, ефектно, і може здатися, що все просто й зрозуміло. Але це лише здається, бо вони абсолютно не дають корисної інформації про технологічний бік процесу.
«Пізнавальні» відео, де показують шлях «від шовкопряда до нитки», — туди ж. Дивитися прикольно, але технологічної користі — нуль.
Лише завдяки нейромережі вдалося відкопати промислові мануали з описом виробничого процесу. Це вже корисно. Дякую, що хоча б не китайською.
Але це лише частково рятує ситуацію, бо, ну, ви ж розумієте, що між фабрикою з обладнанням і мною з каструлькою є певна різниця. Багато речей технічно неможливо реалізувати в домашніх умовах.
Також нейромережа знайшла мені кілька блогів ентузіастів, які так само копирсаються «на кухні». Там є багато корисного, але це більше про їхні особисті експерименти й досвід, ніж про чітку технологію.
Коротше, я в шоці. Але коли це мене зупиняло?
Тому буду ділитися тут усією інформацією, яку знаходитиму, вивчатиму й перевірятиму. Буде в мене свій особистий «мануал».

This was supposed to be just my personal diary about discovering a rather unusual hobby.
Honestly, I naively thought it would be like most creative pursuits: there would be plenty of information—guides, tutorials and books. You study, experiment, practise, improve your skills—and eventually, well done, you have figured it out.
As for creative experience, I embroider and have worked with silk embroidery, I knit and crochet, practise Petrykivka painting, and can sew a little. All of that made me feel fairly confident, so it has been a long time since I was this thoroughly humbled.
I managed to find almost no useful information on my own—mostly tourist-style videos from Asian countries. They certainly look impressive and can make the whole process seem simple and obvious. But that is only an illusion, because they provide virtually no useful information about the technical side of the process.
The same goes for those “educational” videos showing the journey “from silkworm to thread.” They are fun to watch, but in terms of practical technology, their value is zero.
Only with the help of AI did I manage to dig up some industrial manuals describing the production process. Those were genuinely useful—and thankfully, at least they were not in Chinese.
Still, they only solve part of the problem. As you can imagine, there is a certain difference between a fully equipped factory and me standing in my kitchen with a saucepan. Many industrial steps are simply impossible to reproduce at home.
AI also helped me find several blogs run by enthusiasts who are experimenting “in the kitchen” just like me. There is a lot of useful information there, but it is mostly based on their personal experiments and experience rather than on a clear, complete method.
So, to sum it up: I am shocked. But when has that ever stopped me?
I will share everything I learn, find and test here. Eventually, I will have my own personal silk-making “manual.”

Se suponía que esto iba a ser simplemente mi diario personal sobre el descubrimiento de una afición bastante poco habitual para mí.
Sinceramente, pensé con bastante ingenuidad que sería como ocurre con la mayoría de las actividades creativas: habría muchísima información —instrucciones, tutoriales y libros—. Solo tendría que estudiar, probar, practicar, mejorar poco a poco y, finalmente, sentir que ya lo había conseguido.
En cuanto a experiencia creativa, bordo y tengo experiencia con el bordado en seda, tejo tanto a ganchillo como con agujas, practico la pintura de Petrykivka y también sé coser un poco. Todo eso me daba bastante confianza, así que hacía mucho tiempo que no me llevaba un golpe de realidad semejante.
Por mi cuenta casi no conseguí encontrar información útil. La mayoría eran vídeos turísticos de países asiáticos. Se ven impresionantes y pueden dar la sensación de que todo es sencillo y evidente. Pero solo lo parece, porque prácticamente no ofrecen información útil sobre la parte técnica del proceso.
Lo mismo ocurre con los vídeos “educativos” que muestran el camino «del gusano de seda al hilo». Son entretenidos de ver, pero su utilidad práctica y tecnológica es nula.
Solo gracias a la inteligencia artificial conseguí encontrar algunos manuales industriales sobre el proceso de producción. Eso ya resultó realmente útil. Y, por suerte, al menos no estaban en chino.
Sin embargo, esto solo resuelve una parte del problema porque, como comprenderéis, existe cierta diferencia entre una fábrica equipada y yo en mi cocina con una simple olla. Muchas etapas industriales son técnicamente imposibles de reproducir en casa.
La inteligencia artificial también me ayudó a encontrar varios blogs de aficionados que, igual que yo, experimentan “en la cocina”. Allí hay mucha información útil, pero se trata más de sus propios experimentos y experiencias personales que de una tecnología clara y completa.
En resumen: estoy en shock. Pero ¿cuándo me ha detenido eso?
Así que compartiré aquí toda la información que vaya encontrando, aprendiendo y comprobando. Al final tendré mi propio “manual” personal sobre la producción de seda.
