🙋‍♀️ How to revive a character and humanize a text?

1. Face features have to represent the character
There is physiognomy. It’s is a practice of assessing a person's character or personality from their outer appearance—especially the face or its expression. It’s based on a simple rule “it is in and it is out”. Find out more about it so it will be easier to express the emotions that the author described.

2. Colors are more that you think.
Play around with different shades and pallets. For example, tender characters can’t wear electric-colored clothes and agressive characters can’t be dressed pastel-colored clothes.

3. Choose the level of realism
Some characters can look like they are alive, others could be nothing like a person and that will be their benefit. It’s important that realism and sur could be appropriate and matched the style of the book.

Get to know mistakes of terms of reference in order not to make your task into Chinese whispers ☎️

1. Oral terms of reference 📢
A reminder: agreeing terms of reference on a word means there are no terms of reference. It’s better to get everything down on paper.

2. Ambiguous formulation / Lack of specificity 🎯
A dangerous mistake that can lead to wasting time on redoing work.

3. Absence of references 🌅
It’s necessary to attach examples of familiar works or links that can help in describing your task.

4. Lack of knowledge or understanding of the task 🙄
A nightmare of all designers/programmers/copywriters is a phrase “Do so we’ll get to like it”

5. Two in one 👯‍♀️
Or maybe even three... Don’t try to squeeze more than one concrete task in one TOR.

Where would so many of us be without caffeine? Probably still in bed 🛌.

Researchers at the University of Arkansas investigated caffeine’s helpful effect on certain tasks, and discovered it’s more beneficial when it comes to focusing on and solving a concrete problem in comparison to creative endeavors.

It’s no secret that caffeine can help kickstart our engines 💆🏻‍♂️; providing improved alertness and motor performance, but far less is known about its impact on creativity.

After research, it was discovered that caffeine☕️ helped with certain tasks and appeared to be useless for creative ones 🎨.
Though, it didn’t have a negative impact.
Moreover, caffeine didn’t improve working memory. It added optimism, participants said.

How logos of the most famous groups were created

Here are histories of logos of AC/DC, KISS and The Rolling Stones. They are recognisable not only because of their work, but thanks to their symbols too.

🤘🏻🖤Logo of AC/DC was created by Gerard Huerta for original cover of album Let There Be Rock. Right after album came out, logo became a symbol of the group. It became famous to all rockers, so you can’t mix it up.

🤘🏻🖤 Ace Frehley, a member of Kiss, created a logo in far 1973 for the second album Hotter Than Hell.
The popularity of the logo is explained by the fact that, despite its simplicity, the logo very successfully symbolizes the strength and energy of this band.

🤘🏻🖤 Famous "Tongue and Lips" as a symbol of The Rolling Stones was created by a another student from London’s Royal College of Art. Mick Jagger asked to create a logo referring to a picture of indian goddess Kali.
By the way, rights to the picture still belong to the owner. And now he decided to sell it for 300 thousand euro.

Success of these logos are in selling the energy of the groups, and energy is the main thing in every brand.

Does age matter for a designer? 🤔
Spoiler: no

You can get into design at any age. But it takes a few years in average to sort out things.

Today we’re working not with computers but with people. Programs are just tools. Designer has to understand a customer otherwise he will be doing the work that won’t be accepted 🙅🏻‍♀️.

So the age is important only if you are looking for a contractor for a short-term work. For a very young designer (under 16 years old) it will be hard to understand and meet the challenge.

Our the youngest co-worker has recently turned 20, but most of them are 22 years old.

🚀 Our team is young, ambitious but with the experience and the ability to work with people.

Everyone has a favourite book from their childhood and this very character you were imagining yourself after reading💫. In that moment while looking at those images your tase was developing.

🎉 Today is International Children's Book Day.

It must be said, until the mid-17th-century children were told tales orally or kids were reading the same books as their parents. For example, fables. In real time children’s literature is separate direction in literature.

When you got bored: how to relax after working day at home

Earlier our homes used to be places of rest and relaxation but in difficult times of remote working it’s also an office, a cafe, and a resting place.

😌To rest well you have to work hard. That means you have to define a working area and a resting zone. Don’t work on your bed. Working on your bed may cause trouble sleeping and back problems.

😌Establish a timetable, pick a time for working, lunch, and for short breaks, too.

😌 Try to cook a difficult dish. There are two pros of it: you won’t be left without food and according to the scientific research you stress less while cooking.

😌 Take up sports. After the world went into quarantine our fitness levels have fallen. For example, check how many steps you took this weak and compare it to the number of the steps you took before getting locked down in your house.

😌 Play a board game with family. Take your eyes off your phone let them rest. And a game is always a good option
