2026, Dear God, may you please guide me...
Dear God, please lay an extra hand on my goals and plans in 2026. I bring them before You with humility, knowing that while I can dream, plan, and strive, You alone see the full picture. I have ideas shaped by hope, ambition, and desire, but I also recognize that my understanding is limited. I ask not only for success, but for alignment—for my plans to reflect Your will and my goals to be guided by Your wisdom.
As this year unfolds, help me to hold my plans with open hands. Teach me to pursue what is meaningful rather than what is merely impressive. Where my goals are rooted in fear, ego, or comparison, gently redirect me. Where they are rooted in purpose, growth, and love, strengthen my resolve. I don’t want to run ahead of You or lag behind; I want to walk in step with You.
Dear God, I ask for discernment. There will be choices to make, opportunities to consider, and paths that look appealing but may not be right. Help me recognize which doors are meant for me and which ones I need the courage to leave closed. Protect me from chasing things that would distract me from who You are shaping me to become. Let Your peace guide my decisions more than pressure or urgency.
Lay an extra hand on my plans when things don’t unfold as expected. When timelines change, when delays test my patience, and when outcomes differ from what I imagined, remind me that You are still in control. Help me trust that redirection is not rejection and that waiting is not wasted time. Give me the grace to adjust without losing faith and the humility to surrender when Your plans differ from mine.
In 2026, I ask that my goals lead me closer to You, not further away. Let my work, relationships, and pursuits reflect Your character. Teach me to value faithfulness over speed, depth over recognition, and obedience over comfort. Shape my ambitions so they honor You and serve others, not just myself.
Dear God, place Your hand over every step I take this year. Guide me when I’m unsure, correct me when I drift, and strengthen me when I grow weary. I trust that plans aligned with You will never be wasted. Whatever You establish will last, and whatever You remove will make room for something better.
I surrender my goals, my plans, and my expectations for 2026 to You. Let them align with Yours, knowing that Your will is wiser than my desires and Your plans are always made in love.
