MWAKA MPYA?? COCO!! is a first group exhibition from Striti Za Bongo, centers on new year’s celebration on the most popular and public beach in Dar-es-Salaam, COCO beach. It features selection of some of the city’s finest young photographers such as Andrew Munuwa, Marc Ngotonie and Winifrid Luena. Through this exhibition, Striti Za Bongo marks the beginning of the collective reclamation of the city’s visual heritage for the digital era.
The exhibition runs until the 22nd of March at Nafasi art space, Karibuni nyote.
