Is the series Hip Hop events Organised by Okoa Mtaa Foundation which spreading peace,Love,Unity,Happiness and The right Knowledge

As Okoa Mtaa Foundation, we recognize that a big number youth trying to make it as hip hop emcee, but due to lack of hip hop platforms, proper education of hip hop and poverty is making it difficult for them to make it through. We also recognize the power of hip hop elements when converted to the society as it’s the voice of the people (Emcee, Graffiti, Dj, Break-dance and knowledge)

Through the

year we organize a series of hip hop activities once in a month-named SUA Free-stage(since 2012) plus extensive training programs and Workshops upcoming artists to debate, practice and discuss about hip hop culture and social affairs in our society. The events and workshops have start showing positive effects like building confidence for artists, appearance and language use, and also the gathering of youth from different streets of Arusha to share the knowledge. Each year a group of 3-4 artists is selected to participate in Okoa Mtaa Project.The project is design to connect artist to different festivals, studio, project and training programs.

Pamoja na mambo mengi ya kustaajabisha mapya na safu KUBWA ya wasanii, tuna uhakika zaidi kwamba mwaka huu utakuwa wa ajabu zaidi, na tunafurahi sana kuwaona nyote mkifurahia maisha yenu katika 🌞
