Like most artists, when I have an idea for something I just want to write it down or draw it out as quickly as possible so I don’t forget. The problem is, often times when I want to sketch something out I find my hesitating because I’m reluctant make clean and orderly pages look messy and unorganized, at the same time, I don’t like using books with prepri
nted lines, grids, or dots. I prefer not to use preformatted sketchbooks because I’m afraid the aspect ratios or the lines won’t be in the formatting I need. Focusing on the printed lines and grids distracts me from focusing on my idea and getting it written down exactly how I want. The lines and dots inhibit my freedom and my creativity. Sometimes I want to just doodle, sometimes I want to do mockups for websites, and other times I want to sketch up iPhone apps or just write down ideas. There are books with printed lines, books for apps, and books for websites, but there’s no book that does it all. That’s why I came up with the SketchyNotebook, a sketchbook that allows you to put down any idea quickly and in an organized, neat way. If you’re like me, you’ll love the flexibility and freedom this book brings. http://www.sketchynotebook.com
