In the beginners Arduino class we are still learning to solve simple hardware problems, we also learnt about variables and how it helps code be simpler and more organized. In the more advanced class we are learning how to do various component tests without needing code, we also prepared our sound files on our SD cards for our project.
In CircuitBuilder we learnt about sound components and in MachineDrawing we learnt how to use and care for acrylic markers. We did various drawing exercises and learnt about transistors as well as DC motors.

Ceramic class never really ends, there’s always something to learn or to refine, it teaches patience and breaks your heart. It helps you deal with the mundane and makes you believe in magic.

In our reading class (Persepolis) we are trying to understand what freedom really is. We are learning to think about questions and structure good answers with the information from the book rather than to regurgitate directly. We still focus on grammar and spelling as well.
In printmaking we are making steady progress on the carving section. Smaller students are building their plates up using cardboard.

Our students are awesome! They push through failures and deal well with challenges…in our beginner classes we solved simple problems, in our more advanced class we are switching to a Nano for a project. This week we soldered those very small pins. Everyone rocked it with the pathway tests!

無論孩子就讀私小國際部，雙語班，或是英文超前的公小學生，當基礎閱讀與單字量已經難不倒他們時，下一步不是背更多難字，而是開始閱讀真正的英文文學經典，理解故事背後更深層的主題與西式思辨。

繼《Persepolis》台北美國學校閱讀研討班大受好評後，這次我們特地為年齡層較小學員設計了英美各校指定經典：
🐇 《Watership Down》Graphic Novel（中譯：《瓦特希普高原》圖像小說）

《Watership Down》是英美等國學校常見的指定閱讀作品。這次我們選用 Graphic Novel（圖像小說） 版本，透過視覺圖像與道地文字，引導孩子無痛跨越原文書門檻，逐步進入這部經典作品。

這不是一堂教單字背文法的英文課，而是一堂給「已經能用英文閱讀的孩子」的思辨研討課——全英語授課環境，我們把英文當成閱讀，討論，表達與思考的工具！

👦🏻 招生對象：國小二～國中
📅 上課時間：10/29 起週五下午1pm~2:30pm (共十堂)
建議中低年級
👉🏼 另外加開：11月中起週三晚上 (共十堂) 建議二年級以上
11月中起 週四晚上（共八堂）建議高年級以上

In this class we will work through the graphic adaptation of the British classic ‘Watership down’ written by Richard Adams.
This book has had an enormous impact on anyone who read it as a child and it is probably more relevant than ever!
