偶爾策劃展覽與活動 Our goal is to connect differently.

鬧空間位於老透天厝三樓，高挑且無立柱的開放式空間，配有完善的軟硬體設備，以支應展覽、影片放映、講座等活動。作為新型態的替代空間，嘗試整合資源策劃具多元與實驗性的藝術展覽，期望串連社區其他空間，以激發出更多有趣的在地藝文計畫。

NOW space is located on the 3rd floor of the building where the space is wide opened with a high ceiling and without any pillars. Here we provided full sets of software and hardware equipment that are able to support the events such as art exhibitions, screening, lectures… etc. As a new type of alternative space, Now space has been endeavoring to coordinate different sources and to plan events that are more diverse and more experimental.

佇亭仔跤 Tī Tîng-á-kha

台語中的「佇」（tī）相當於華語的「在」；「亭仔跤」（tîng-á-kha）則是「騎樓」。作為介於室內與戶外、私人與公共、店屋與街道之間的中介空間，騎樓既是日常往來的通道，也是短暫停留的場所。

本次展覽是「鬧前面 NOW front」（鬧咖啡前方的畸零空間）首次作為展覽平台的嘗試。《佇亭仔跤》呈現五位創作者於 Afterimage 2026 線上影像工作坊期間發展的階段性作品。創作者分別從掃墓、家族旅行、蘭花、動物園裡的鳥，以及疫情期間的體溫掃描等日常經驗與事物出發，沿著其中的細縫，逐步探索身份、命名與觀看如何在層疊的殖民歷史、治理脈絡與權力關係中被形塑。創作在此被視為一種提問與研究的方法，也是一個拆解既有知識、重新形成理解，並生成新問題的過程。

這些移動中的影像佇亭仔跤，在這個過渡性的空間裡嘗試打開不同的視角，並持續朝向下一個尚未確定的狀態展開。

In Taiwanese, “佇” (tī) means “to be at/in,” while “亭仔跤” (tîng-á-kha) refers to a covered sidewalk, an architectural form commonly found along Taiwan’s streets. Situated between indoors and outdoors, private and public, storefront and street, tîng-á-kha serves both as a passage for everyday movement and a place for temporary pause.

This exhibition marks the first time NOW front is being used as an exhibition space. Tī tîng-á-kha presents works in progress developed by five artists during the Afterimage 2026 Online Moving Image Workshop. Beginning with everyday experiences and things—tomb sweeping, a family sea journey, orchids, birds in a zoo, and temperature screening during the COVID-19 pandemic—the artists follow the fissures within them, gradually exploring how identity, naming, and ways of seeing are formed through layered colonial histories, contexts of governance, and power relations.

Here, artistic practice is considered a form of inquiry and research, as well as a process of dismantling existing knowledge, forming new understandings, and generating further questions. These moving images are situated in tîng-á-kha, opening up different perspectives within this transitional space while continuing to unfold toward states yet to be determined.

#活動回顧
八月初由駐村藝術家亞森·瓦西列夫（Yasen Vasilev）帶領大家進行《THE MANY-HEADED BODY》最後兩場的工作坊體驗。亞森會依據每場參與者的狀態跟空間氛圍來調整內容，從專注力練習開始，帶領大家建立與他人的「連結」。

其中一位參與者本身有肢體表演背景，他分享到這次工作坊跟平時排練很不一樣，不需要做很誇張的動作，而是把注意力放回自己身上，並想像自己是一個物體，單純用皮膚接觸身邊的人，等彼此熟悉、感受身體的聲音後再開始移動。每一場因為成員不同，所帶來的結果也都很讓人驚喜。

In early August, artist-in-residence Yasen Vasilev led the final two workshops of THE MANY-HEADED BODY. Yasen tuned each session to the group's energy and the surrounding space, starting with focus exercises before guiding participants into building genuine connections with one another.

One participant with a physical performance background shared how distinct the experience felt from typical rehearsals—no exaggerated movements were needed. Instead, the focus turned inward: imagining oneself as an extension of the other, making simple skin-to-skin contact, and tuning into the body’s subtle cues before allowing movement to develop from the breathing. With a different mix of people in every session, the resulting dynamics were full of surprises.

過去十年間，亞森・瓦西列夫（Yasen Vasilev）將戲劇構作（Dramaturgy）作為一種導航工具（Compass），透過結合不同階段的計畫，實踐了從「個人」走向「集體」，並探索著如何透過「提問」而非「編舞」來驅使身體。

本次座談中，除了理論層面的討論，更多分享的是亞森如何將戲劇構作從「輔助性質的服務」，轉化為一種獨立藝術實踐的歷程與方法。這段過體現在他的創作脈絡中，透過《NUTRICULA》發現了「提問」的力量，在臺北寶藏巖駐村時透過《IMPOSSIBLE ACTIONS》確認了「集體性」的可能，和在正進行中的研究《THE MANY-HEADED BODY》中持續探索一種超越個人意志的「共同身體」。

Yasen Vasilev views dramaturgy as a navigational compass, closely integrating it with his specific creative projects over the past decade. Through these projects, he has realized a shift from the individual to the collective, exploring how to drive the body through "questions" rather than "choreography".

Beyond sharing theatrical theory, his work recounts the journey of transforming dramaturgy from a "service-based labor" into an independent artistic practice
He discovered the power of generative questions through ”NUTRICULA”, and confirmed the potential of "collectivity" through ”IMPOSSIBLE ACTIONS” during his residency at Treasure Hill in Taipei. In his ongoing research ”THE MANY-HEADED BODY”, he seeks to find a "collective body" that transcends individual will.

Thank you to everyone who attended the event, and a huge thank you to Yasen for sharing his ten years of research with us. Through this residency opportunity, NOWroom was honored to be a part of Yasen’s project, ”THE MANY-HEADED BODY”. 講座【日本ZINEです！日本小誌文化的觀察與推廣之旅】

感謝大家上週五的參與！由 NIZE 品牌負責人王晴（Ching Wang）與大家分享日本小誌的文化發展與特色。日本小誌在吸收歐美文化後，於 2000 年代開始多元的發展。例如 2009 年創立的「東京藝術書展（Tokyo Art Book Fair）」，以及各式結合咖啡廳與在地商店街的特色市集，都讓小誌文化更加深入日常生活。

日本小誌以 #溫和親近 #地方文化 #文字較多為常見的特色，且創作者大多不一定具有藝術背景，像是有家庭主婦因熱愛料理而製作了食譜小誌，在市集上販售時大受歡迎，展現真誠的創作能量。

對於第一次想製作小誌的人，王晴建議可以從「生活出發」，用自己擅長的方式呈現，選擇自己關心、有感的主題，是做小誌最重要的心態。

度口計畫-第十二站-鬧空間

展覽由《去花蓮找莊德樹》與《回滿州》兩個系列作品交織而成。空間轉化了告別式的場景，兩部作品分別是對其父親與岳父的告別。

#去花蓮找莊德樹是莊約翰透過追尋過往有關父親的人事物，從他人口中重新理解父親的樣貌，並與想像中的莊德樹告別，填補父子關係中的空缺。
#回滿洲則是莊約翰參與岳父喪禮時的真實體悟，在跟隨靈車的路途中，他捕捉隨風飄散的金紙，並將畫面中的靈車消除，延伸出對生命與存在的各種疑問。

「度口計劃」已於全臺各地巡迴展出。除了展覽本身，莊約翰也透過與不同藝術家、藝文工作者及空間負責人的對談，持續思考 #離別與 #藝術的意義。目前也在鬧空間成功完成了第 100 場的座談囉！

本週六（8/1）將舉辦最後一天的座談，當天將邀請影像創作、裝置、表演藝術、空間經驗等 6 位不同領域的朋友一起聊聊，歡迎直接入場參與！

#活動回顧
《THE MANY-HEADED BODY》計畫延伸的四場工作坊已順利結束，由駐村藝術家亞森·瓦西列夫（Yasen Vasilev）帶領大家進行身體的探索，感謝大家的參與！

一開始，亞森邀請大家閉上雙眼，練習讓自己處於「無意識」的狀態，跟隨身體自然的流動。參與者藉由互相觀察彼此的狀態，一起討論分享，以另一種角度重新認識自己。暖身練習結束後，亞森邀請參與者透過「觸碰」，與其他人產生連結，運用身體去對話，以最直接的感受一起進行練習。

過程中，我們在旁邊觀察大家的互動，發現不同人呈現的表演很不一樣，有的人喜歡向外伸展四肢，有的則不斷纏繞翻滾，不管是哪一種狀態都非常的漂亮。

工作坊的最後，亞森請大家回想練習過程中，有關於「Parameters（決定因素/觀察）」與「Questions（疑問）」的想法，與大家一同分析問題與想法，也為本次計畫的研究帶來不同啟發。

The four workshops from “THE MANY-HEADED BODY” project have come to a smooth close. Guided by resident artist Yasen Vasilev, participants explored the possibilities of movement and bodily awareness together. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

The workshop began with an invitation to close our eyes and enter an "unconscious" state, allowing the body to move naturally. Through observation and gentle discussion, participants reconnected with themselves from new perspectives. Yasen then led the group to connect through touch, using pure physical sensation to start a subtle dialogue.

Observing from the side, each person’s presence was unique and beautiful. Some stretched outward into space, while others rolled and intertwined.

At the end of each session, Yasen invited everyone to reflect on the "Parameters" and "Questions" that emerged during practice. Unpacking these thoughts together brought meaningful insights to the project’s ongoing research.

Note: Upcoming sessions are currently full and reserved for returning participants.

We’ll be hosting an Artist Talk “WHAT ELSE IS THERE?” with Yasen Vasilev at NOW space on the evening of Thursday, August 6. Stay tuned!

由本次駐村藝術家亞森·瓦西列夫（Yasen Vasilev）帶領一場以講座形式進行的邀請，探討「開放式戲劇構作」（open dramaturgy）以反紀律方式使用身體運動的可能性。

本講座將以理論架構、書面參考資料、實踐原則及具體工具來拆解這一種特定的想法和實作模式，同時回溯戲劇構作實踐在過去十年間的發展歷程。

亞森·瓦西列夫（Yasen Vasilev）是一位以布魯塞爾為根基，活躍於當代舞蹈與表演領域，專長為舞蹈構作、評論寫作與藝術研究的藝術家。他是《Springback》雜誌的常約撰稿人。其長期計畫《IMPOSSIBLE ACTIONS》首次被概念化於 2019 年台北國際藝術村。自 2025 年起，他擔任布魯塞爾「Bâtard Brussels」的新任藝術統籌者，該平台致力於支持新興與實驗性實踐，並每年於貝爾赫貝格藝術中心舉辦藝術節。

A lecture-invitation to engage with the critical capacity of open dramaturgy to set bodies in motion in anti-disciplinary ways. The talk will introduce theoretical frameworks, reading references, working principles, and concrete tools for unpacking this specific way of thinking and doing, while tracing the development of an artistic-dramaturgical practice over the course of a decade.

Yasen Vasilev works in the field of contemporary dance and performance with dance dramaturgy, critical writing and artistic research from a base in Brussels. He is a regular contributor for Springback magazine, his long-term project IMPOSSIBLE ACTIONS was first conceptualized in Taipei artist village in 2019, and since 2025 he’s the new artistic coordinator of Bâtard Brussels, a platform for emerging and experimental practices that organizes an annual festival at Beursschouwburg.
